Your Reservation :



1. How do I know if Chalet du Moulin is available? How do I make a reservation? Click on the RESERVE button.Enter your arrival and departure dates and the number of adults and children and continue the online booking procedure.

2. Do I need a rental contract before booking my rental ?
All reservations made on our platform are subject to a rental contract.
A written agreement allows both parties to cover all the terms and conditions of use and to clarify any outstanding issues.
It is important that you read the rental agreement before paying or sending a booking request.
To read this document, click on "Booking Conditions" just above the "Book" button.
Don't forget:
o Read the rental contract to make sure that the terms satisfy you before continuing with the reservation.
o If you have any questions, ask the owner.
When you send the payment on our site, you accept the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.as well as the landlord's rental agreement by electronic signature.

3. How do I know the price of my stay?
To have a precise estimate of the price of your stay; in the reservation module,enter your arrival and departure dates, select the number of adults, children and baby,and click on the tab " Check availability ", the price of your stay will be displayed.

4. How is the tourist tax calculated?
The amount of the tourist tax is 1,10 € per night and per person over 18 years old.
It is intended to run the two tourist offices of the Montagne Noire or the tourist office of Grand Carcassonne and to develop tourism in the Aude Pays Cathare.

5. What does the cleaning package include?
The cleaning package includes the cleaning of all the rooms of the gite.
It does not include the cleaning of the dishes and the taking out of the dustbins.

6. How do I make a reservation?
Enter the booking module, enter your arrival and departure dates, select the number of adults, children and baby, click on the "Check availability" tab and continue the online booking procedure.

7. How do I pay for my booking?
The reservation is paid online by credit card, 30% deposit at the time of reservation, the balance 5 days before your arrival.
You will have to pay on the spot : the visitor's tax, the deposit by cheque or credit card.

8. Can I pay my rental in several instalments ?
When you book your rental on our website, I will ask you to pay in one of the two following ways:
o Pay the entire balance in advance (especially in case of late booking).
o Pay a deposit of 30% to confirm the reservation, then the rest of the balance 14 days before your arrival date.
Unfortunately, you cannot pay for your stay more than twice.
If you do not pay the balance on time, the cancellation conditions will apply to your reservation.
It is therefore important to contact me if you think you will have problems paying the remaining balance.

9. What are the accepted means of payment?
For online payments we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, China Union Pay.
For on-site payments we accept bank checks, bank transfers, cash.
We do not accept holiday cheques.

10. How do I know my reservation is secure?
The data communicated via the booking form is collected with your consent and is intended for Chalet du Moulin in its capacity as data controller.
The data on this form is collected for the purposes of making a booking, customer relationship management and compliance with the regulations applicable to Chalet du Moulin.
Following your reservation, you have a right of access, rectification, deletion, limitation, portability and opposition on legitimate grounds to personal data concerning you.
All the provisions relating to the protection of your personal data are detailed in our personal data protection policy.
The reservation system is secured through our provider Amenitiz.
Payments are secure and compliant with the PCI DSS standard.

11. Can I change the dates or the number of people in my reservation?
For any modification click on the MODIFY button of your reservation for any change of reservation.

12. How do I contact the owner?
From the website www.chaletdumoulin.fr you can use the contact form.

13. How will the owner contact me?

Your stay in the gîte



21. Is the gite non-smoking? Yes, the mill cottage is non-smoking.
For the well-being and safety of all, it is strictly forbidden to smoke in the gite.
Furthermore, due to the dry Mediterranean vegetation, charcoal barbecues are not allowed in the garden.

22. Can we eat outside on the terrace?
Yes, you can eat outside on the terrace with a garden table and a plancha.
You can also have an aperitif in the garden in the shade of the holm oaks.

23. Should I bring sheets and towels with me?
You don't need to bring sheets and towels, as they are provided at no extra charge ;as are your beds, which are made for your arrival.

24. Should I bring salt, pepper, oil, toilet paper ...?
You do not need to bring salt, pepper, oil, toilet paper ... because these ingredients are provided.
You will thus have a "back of the closet" which is sometimes maintained by our previous customers who leave us local products.such as olive oil from Spain or shortbread biscuits from Brittany, which I leave at the disposal of our future guests.

25. What are the check-in instructions?
If I am not present the keys are in the secure key box next to the front door.
If I am present, I will welcome you personally and give you all the useful information for your stay.

26. Do I have to clean up before my departure?
You are on holiday! I would therefore not ask you to clean the chalet from top to bottom for your departure.
On the other hand, I would just ask you to do the minimum, i.e. to sweep up, tidy up a minimum, put your laundry in the dirty, empty the dishwasher, empty the dustbins.

27. What are the check out instructions?
If I am not present for your departure I will ask you to turn off all the lights, turn off all the radiators in winter, close the shutters.
Leave the keys in the secure key box and don't forget to scramble the code.

28. Is there a parking lot?
Yes, you will be able to park your car in the shade on the plot right next to the chalet.
There is enough space to park 2 cars.

29. What is the maximum capacity of the gite? How many beds do you have?
The maximum capacity of the gite is 6 people with 3 bedrooms and 3 beds in 140 cm.

30. Is there a washing machine? Yes, a washing machine is at your disposal.

31. Is there a dishwasher?
Yes, a dishwasher is at your disposal, you won't have to do the dishes.

32. Do you have a coffeemaker?
Yes, we have a Nespresso maker.

33. Do you have an iron?
Yes, we have an iron and an ironing board.

34. Do you have a hairdryer?
Yes, we have a hairdryer.

35. Do you have WIFI?
Yes, wifi is free and high speed throughout the chalet.

36. Do you have duvets and blankets?
Yes, we have duvets and extra blankets for cooler nights.

37. What type of heating do you have?
There are electric radiators in all the rooms, as well as a towel-dryer fan heater in the bathroom.

38. Do you have a shower or bathtub in the bathroom?
